Multiple-valued energy function in neural networks with asymmetric connections.

چکیده
We apply the graphic transformation method[11],[25] to obtain the steady state distribution of asymmetric Boltzmann machines as an extension of the symmetric equilibrium case. We give the magnitude of deviation from the equilibrium explicitly as a function of the asymmetry in the connections between the neurons. We show that the steady state of asymmetric Boltzmann machines is characterized by multiple energy values, rather than by a single energy value as in the equilibrium state of symmetric Boltzmann machines. The equilibrium scalar energy function is generalized to a multiple-valued energy function in the case of asymmetric Boltzmann machines. PACS Numbers ; 87.10.+e, 02.10.+w, 42.79.Ta

GENERATION OF MULTIPLE SPECTRUM-COMPATIBLE ARTIFICIAL EARTHQUAKE ACCELEGRAMS WITH HARTLEY TRANSFORM AND RBF NEURAL NETWORK
The Hartley transform, a real-valued alternative to the complex Fourier transform, is presented as an efficient tool for the analysis and simulation of earthquake accelerograms. This paper is introduced a novel method based on discrete Hartley transform (DHT) and radial basis function (RBF) neural network for generation of artificial earthquake accelerograms from specific target spectrums. Acce...

The brain map project aims to map out the neuron connections of the human brain. Even with all of the wirings mapped out, the global and physical understandings of the function and behavior are still challenging. Hopfield quantified the learning and memory process of symmetrically connected neural networks globally through equilibrium energy. The energy basins of attractions represent memories,...
متن کاملGlobal Asymptotic and Exponential Stability of Tri-Cell Networks with Different Time Delays
In this paper, a bidirectional ring network with three cells and different time delays is presented. To propose this model which is a good extension of three-unit neural networks, coupled cell network theory and neural network theory are applied. In this model, every cell has self-connections without delay but different time delays are assumed in other connections. A suitable Lyapun...
متن کاملRole of STDP in regulation of neural timing networks in human: a simulation study
Many physiological events require an accurate timing signal, usually generated by neural networks called central pattern generators (CPGs). On the other hand, properties of neurons and neural networks (e.g. time constants of neurons and weights of network connections) alter with time, resulting in gradual changes in timing of such networks. Recently, a synaptic weight adjustment mechanism has b...
